Marking Flowers

There are ten Flower watermarks in the Leicester and Arundel Codices, representing five different watermark types.

Representing Group A is Leicester 08
Representing Group B is Leicester 06
Representing Group C is Arundel 173-176
Representing Group D is Arundel 201-202
Representing Group E is Arundel 178-179

Each Flower is marked with 11 points. The watermark should be oriented so that the higher leaf tip is on the right.

Point Locations:
  1. tip of upward pointing petal at center of upper edge of petal rim
  2. leftmost tip of petal rim
  3. tip of downward pointing petal at center of lower edge of petal rim
  4. rightmost tip of petal rim
  5. intersection of bottom of flower and upper end of stem
  6. tip of left leaf
  7. intersection of left leaf and its stem
  8. intersection of stem from bottom of flower and stem to right leaf
  9. tip of right leaf
  10. intersection of right leaf and its stem
  11. intersection of stem from left leaf and central stem
